VM Host Reboot

To be able to use the activity, you need to install VMware PowerCLI on the Resolve Actions Express Executor server.

Activity Description​

Reboots a host.

Settings​

  • Host Name—The host name or IP address. This must be either the vCenter device or the ESXi device (you can configure the device with Platform type vCenter/ESXi under Devices).
  • User Name—The user name of an account that has read/write access to the host.
  • Password—The password of the account listed in the User Name field.
  • Target Host Name—The Virtual Machine's host.
  • Force reboot—Determines whether or not to force the host's reboot.

When running the command on the same host on which you want to execute it, set the target host's name to "Localhost.lan" regardless of the host's actual name.
